I’ve put online the video of my final project for this term’s performance classes. It’s a piece called Neon/Music, it analyzes the color and rhythm structure of video clips in order to generate music. Hope you enjoy it, right-click here for a higher resolution MP4 of the file. Unity Gain is a sort of electronic jam session of audio & video artists, mostly using computers. Nice scene, with VJs, laptop musicians and an interactive installation, the Octa-masher by Moldover. It reminded me of some events at Super-Deluxe in Tokyo, lots of experimentation and interaction. The VJs had all their gear set up in the upstairs bar – two computers, video mixer, […] The Transitions party was a huge success! More than 300 people showed up at SuperDeluxe, and danced the night away until 5am, with great tunes from Yoppy, Vanessa, Tsunami Devil, DJ 7777, Ida, and Shomi.
