Street Art Columbus Circle

On my way to Time Warner Center I noticed a newspaper article about NASA stuck to a hoarding. Closer inspection revealed more newspaper clippings, covered with very precise annotations, apparently referencing some kind of UFO conspiracy. They looked cool against the red wall. Spirituality and cooling

Take care of your spiritual development, your A/C and refrigeration needs from just one source. (Take a close look at the door of the van.)

Whistler Snowboarding

Big achievement for me was learning to make linked turns – the trick is to look where you are going, and let your body follow your line of sight. Also, consciously trying to keep weight on forward foot is key. When it all comes together, and […]

Bright Lights, Big Chili

A battle is being fought on the streets of New York, not far from where I live and study. Two family-owned Indian restaurants, side-by-side in the same building, strive to out-do each other in the matter of illumination. The interiors are equally overwhelming. More info here.

Better than a mirror

Spotted at Madras Mahal, 28th & Lexington. One way to fix a broken mirror in the bathroom.

Brooklyn Breakfast

This picture was taken from the roof deck at 300 Mercer, next to the Tisch school at NYU.

Quite challenging – the market moves fast, and desirable properties are rented quickly (and I am well-aware that my budget isn’t quite right for any of the beautiful upper east side luxury apartments in the city). When I started thinking about […]

Pictures and video from "Transitions" party

The Transitions party was a huge success! More than 300 people showed up at SuperDeluxe, and danced the night away until 5am, with great tunes from Yoppy, Vanessa, Tsunami Devil, DJ 7777, Ida, and Shomi. Nataku played a very high-energy live set, Crackitbaby did an extra-large sized painting and drumming performance, VJ flyflyfly and Xochipilli […]
